Fresh Fish & Live Lobsters in the Pine Point Tradition

The First Pine Point Seafood Market
Pine Point Seafood in Pine Point, Scarborough Maine was founded by the Thurlow Family in 1968. Donald H. Thurlow and his sons David and Don operated the Market for many years. They would bring in their own catch to sell, and offered a variety of fresh fish, clams, and lobsters (live and cooked to order). The original market was eventually moved from the property and the Market was located in another building nearby.

The "Fish Market," as it was called by family members and locals, was a successful business. Don and Betty Thurlow and their sons worked hard and took pride in the growth of the family businesses which included the Clambake Restaurant, owned and operated by their son Donny and his wife Cecilia.

Donald and Betty Thurlow, along with their son David and daughter-in-law Cecilia, passed away in the 1990's. Donny Thurlow died in 2004. Their legacies remain as do the wonderful memories that family, friends and customers have of these special places.
